HIFU – Face

High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound targets deep layers of the skin and SMAS layer to lift, tighten, and contour the face non-surgically with long-lasting results.

Process:
HIFU uses focused ultrasound waves to penetrate deep layers of the skin and stimulate collagen remodeling, tightening the skin and lifting sagging areas. Treatment targets the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS), the same layer tightened in surgical facelifts, without incisions. Sessions last about 60 minutes.

Pre-Treatment Precautions:

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before treatment.
  • No active infections, open wounds, or inflammations on the face.
  • Inform the clinician of any implants or metal devices.

Post-Treatment Care:

  • Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness may occur and usually resolve within days.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat (sauna) for 48 hours.
  • Use sunscreen and gentle skincare products.
  • Results develop over 2-3 months.

Pros:

  • Non-surgical facelift alternative with no downtime.
  • Long-lasting tightening and lifting effects.
  • Targets deep skin layers for significant collagen stimulation.

Cons:

  • Slight discomfort during treatment.
  • Some patients may need touch-up sessions.
  • Not suitable for very loose or severely sagging skin.
