Chemical Peel

Customized chemical solutions are applied to exfoliate dead skin, reduce pigmentation, acne scars, and fine lines, revealing smoother, more even-toned skin.

Process:
Chemical peels use acids (glycolic, salicylic, lactic, or TCA) to exfoliate the outer skin layers, removing dead cells and stimulating regeneration. Depending on the peel strength, treatments range from superficial to medium-depth. Sessions typically last 20-30 minutes.

Pre-Treatment Precautions:

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks.
  • Stop retinoids and exfoliating agents 5 days prior.
  • Do not undergo if you have active infections or recent isotretinoin use.

Post-Treatment Care:

  • Redness, peeling, and dryness expected for several days.
  • Keep skin moisturized and avoid picking peeling skin.
  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily.
  • Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours.

Pros:

  • Improves skin tone, texture, pigmentation, and fine lines.
  • Suitable for many skin types and concerns.
  • Can be tailored from mild to moderate intensity.

Cons:

  • Downtime varies with peel depth; redness and peeling common.
  • Risk of hyperpigmentation or irritation if not properly cared for.
  • Not suitable for very sensitive or inflamed skin.
